Programme Manager

Edmund is our Programme Manager. He joined KICS in January 2015 as a volunteer, and since then has risen through different positions to reach his current role today. He has a background in development and is experienced in project planning and management, project coordination, networking, and Monitoring and Evaluation. He holds a MA in Development Studies.

Projects Coordinator

Oliver is our Projects Coordinator at KICS. She has held this position since she started working with KICS in 2013. Her background is in counselling and guidance, and she has experience in community mobilisation, adult literacy training, and psycho-social counselling. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Counselling and Guidance.

Viorah Amutuheire

Finance & Administration Officer

Viorah joined KICS in March 2021 as Projects Officer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mbarara University of Science and Technology. She has experience in administration and accounting. Viorah was promoted to Finance and Administration Officer from Project Officer in January 2022 having shown a passion for all aspects of her work.

Mary Racheal Natujuna

Projects Officer

Mary joined the team in October 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship and small business management from Makerere University. Mary’s previous experience in rural development has equipped her with valuable skills in data collection and community mobilisation.

Allan Tukashaba

Allan Tukashaba

Agriculture Extension Officer

Allan joined the team in 2022. He is an agriculture development graduate from Bishop Stuart University. He also holds a diploma in agriculture studies from OZER Farm in Israel. He is a passionate trainer and farmer himself, with interests in field preparation, planting, harvesting, sorting and packaging.

Projects Officer

Musa joined the team in 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bishop Stuart University. He supports our microcredit, village savings and loan associations programmes along with training and community engagement.

Fiona Bristow

Fiona Bristow

Trustee and Director

Fiona has been a KICS trustee since 2015 and took over the role of KICS Director in 2016. She has a background in international development and experience in reproductive health, community development, and fundraising.

John Watson

John Watson

Treasurer Trustee

John joined as treasurer and trustee in 2019. He is a Management Consultant with 15 years experience advising financial services institutions and government departments. John has 10 years experience as a governor and treasurer in the UK education sector, and a degree in mathematics from the University of Bath.

Bani Norouzian

Bani Norouzian

Chair of the Board of Trustees

Bani joined the charity as the chair in 2024. She has an extensive commercial background working for corporate organisations with focus on Africa. She has a degree in data management and an MBA in Strategy Planning.

Laura Millilo

Laura Millilo

Trustee

Laura joined as trustee in 2020. She has a MSc in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC Paris. She is a Strategy Analyst at Accenture UK, tackling large transformation projects in energy. Previously she worked in East and West Africa for four years on livelihoods and private sector development, particularly in Uganda, supporting small and medium sized enterprises.

Carol Sherman

Trustee

Carol has over 35 years’ experience working for international non-government organisations in senior roles working on large scale programs and operations in complex emergencies in low-income countries in MENA, Asia, Africa, Pacific and the Balkans. She joined KICS as a trustee in 2021.

Anne Maklan

Anne Maklan

Volunteer and Secretary to the Board

Anne has been a volunteer with KICS since 2012, and took on the roles of Secretary to the KICS-UK Board of Trustees and Donations Co-ordinator in 2014. She has a background in administration within international organisations.

Jenny Easton

Jenny Easton

Trustee

Jenny joined the board in June 2023. She brings experience in development programming and policy for Africa and small island developing states, gained at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Previously, she worked with non-government organisations supporting migrant populations in Greece and on education and water and sanitation development programs in Uganda and Morocco.

Sara joined the board of trustees in January 2024, bringing over eight years of experience in healthcare consultancy. With a particular interest in advancing women’s health, she is committed to supporting our mission and driving positive change in the community of Kashare.
